Clutching a guitar close to his chest and gripping the fretboard tightly, the Australia-born alternative troubadour unlocks a flood of feelings and conveys them through offbeat riffs and overpowering delivery. He’s a dyed-in-the-wool alternative outsider who’s equally gritty and sensitive. Not only does he sing his heart out, but he can also rip unapologetically on the six-string. The singer, songwriter, and guitarist grew up in Cairns, Queensland. Between spending countless hours on the rugby field, he learned how to play guitar at eleven-years-old. He studied the instrument, co-opted unconventional tunings from John Mayer and Goo Goo Dolls, and listened closely to Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Beach Boys. He eventually reached a semi-professional level of rugby, but music called to him louder. 

Obsessed and inspired, he played pubs regularly and penned nearly 100 tunes in a few months at the end of 2025, posting on social media daily. He hit breakthrough virality with “Fly Away” when a D.I.Y. acoustic performance of the song exploded online in 2026. Luke Combs commented and reposted it as praised followed courtesy of Noah Kahan, Bailey Zimmerman, David Kushner, Avery Anna, and many others. Labels sought him out, and he inked a deal with Columbia Records. Now, the 22-year-old maverick conveys his truth on a series of 2026 singles and his forthcoming debut project.
